Tomatis

Tomatis programmes music and voice in real time in order to capture the brain’s attention and to develop motor, emotional and cognitive skills.

The ear is the most powerful sensory integrator of the human body. More than 80% of the stimulation our brain receives comes from our ear. On one hand it has a major role in the cerebral stimulation of the brain, and on the other hand it has a positive action on the cerebral plasticity of the brain. This explains how it interacts in many fields of application. The Tomatis® Method is a complementary tool to most therapeutic or pedagogical support. It makes it possible to multiply the results obtained, and thus significantly reduce the duration of a traditional therapeutic or medical plan. It can be used at any age (children, adults or seniors) and it can be used for one’s personal development to help fight most difficulties and disorders.

Safe and Sound Protocol

Individualised Auditory Stimulation Programme

The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) by Unyte-iLs is an evidence-based intensive listening programme aimed at those with anxiety, social communication difficulties and trauma that has been developed as a result of over four decades of peer-reviewed research, based on Dr Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory.

Music is played through over-ear headphones, which has been specially filtered in order to gradually expose the auditory system to different sound frequencies. It works by stimulating the facial and vagus nerves and helping the autonomic nervous system to regulate, improving concentration and social engagement.

  • Social and emotional difficulties

  • Attachment disorder

  • Auditory sensitivities

  • Auditory processing difficulties

  • Anxiety and trauma related challenges

  • Inattention

  • Stressors that impact social engagement
